I'll get brett to post a more detailed reply to this question as he's the expert in this area.
As for Minister for Health the Honourable Stephen Robertson i'll ask him that question when i see him on monday. He's currently over here trying to recruit UK doctors and they have a roadshow invitation to any intersted uk doctors.

I think you can register on www.health.qld.gov.au
