Just a quick tidbit of info from Liverpool: check out the link below if Crohn's disease interests you.

The Gastro department in the Royal Liverpool University Hopsital is very well established, with lots of research being produced.

Indeed, Proffesor Gilmore (President of the Royal College of Physicians) is a consultant gastro-enterologist at the Royal.
