TTFTF
At 3 Km (10000 feet) PaO2 is about 60-65mmHg, PaO2 below this stimulates ventilation (hypoxic drive), beyond 3Km subject will hyperventilate and drop CO2. Inspired CO2 concentration would be same at all levels, partial presure would drop.
Alveolar CO2 and water vapour remain constant till the hight is reached beyond which PAO2(alveolar PO2) of 100mmHg is not possible (beyond 10.4Km hight) (this is on 100% O2). At 3Km PA CO2 and water vapour stay constant. 3KM is not much to limit procreational activities!
