Hi Amijones
You've got the definition of pulse pressure right. The normal range being about 35 - 45 mmHg ( ref: A-Z ). The explanations for the answers become clear if you look at the physiological action of the stems.
--Hypercapnia causes an increase in sympathetic activity leading to an increase in systolic blood pressure more than diastolic.
--Increased end diastolic volume causes an increase in stroke volume assuming normal cardiac activity which in turn causes an increase in systolic pressure.
--Increase in peripheral or systemic vascular resistance causes an increase in diastolic pressure thus reducing pulse pressure.
--Haemodilution by itself does not affect pulse pressure.
