Nor adrenaline is predominantly alfa stimulant, so not important for beta receptors in heart, in contrast to adrenaline, which is alfa and beta stimulant and increases myocardial contractility (simulates sympathetic stimulation).The mechanism is through beta stimulation- Gs protein activation- Adenylate Cyclase- cAMP- Phsphorylase- raised Ca available- positive ionotrophy and chronotrophy.
AS will reduce SV by raising afterload.

nb. endogenous noradrenaline has beta effects causing tachycardia and increased CO, a) should really therefore be true.
