104) THE FOLLOWIJNG FACTS CONCERNING ALVEOLAR CO2 ARE TRUE
a) the alveolar co2 is the same as the end capillary co2 concentration
b) alveolar co2 is not increased when co2 production is increased
c) alveolar co2 levels are not dependent on the cardiac output
d) alveolar levels are increased in hypoventilation
e) alveolar co2 levels are increased in hypoxia

a) T – CO2 is in equilibrium by this time
b) F- An increase in Production will cause more to be eliminated by hyperventilating but if this capacity is exceeded ( MH) there will be a rise in PaCO2 and PACO2
c) F In Low CO states Co2 will fall
d) T
e) F – Will fall due to hyperventilation
